Some countries had me visit many times - looking at you Germany!
What an incredible ride this year has been, with the travel aspect truly taken up a notch.

Sumo returned to the Royal Albert Hall after 34 years.
Only the second time a championship has ever taken place outside of Japan.
Over 200kg of salt thrown on the dohyo and over 1000 sachets of miso supplied by the caterers.
An epic week of sportsmanship by the crème de la creme.
A fantastic championship to be Show Caller for and always a delight to be working at such an incredible venue.

Now that Robbie Williams’ Britpop Tour is well underway it’s time to look back at opening night in Edinburgh.
As someone who grew up in Edinburgh (and an enormous @scotlandteam fan) it was an absolute thrill to open this tour at Murrayfield Stadium.

Back in London, in March 🇬🇧
I returned to some fantastic events, not least the Mountbatten Festival of Music at Royal Albert Hall.
MFM is the annual celebration of musicianship and pageantry from the Massed Bands of HM Royal Marines.

The start of this year has been a whirlwind 🌍
January and February was a lot of international travel for work, including:

🇪🇸 Spain
🇮🇹 Italy
🇵🇹 Portugal
🇪🇬 Egypt
One of the highlights: whilst working in Barcelona with a delightful team from the UK with @cue2cueteams I was able to reconnect with @emilyelizabethburton.
We first worked together in Emily’s home city of Las Vegas, then in Munich last summer and here we were working together in Europe, once again.
I absolutely adore the network of international friends and colleagues and the opportunities to see the world together, through our work.

Wrapping up 2024 and looking back over the last few months.
It’s been busy, both work-wise and personally, but eternally grateful to be doing jobs I love.
Curiously, this quarter of the year has featured a lot of automotive jobs for me.
I didn’t plan it that way, but they included:
- Society of Motor Manufacturers’ Annual Dinner for @seventy.events
- A fundraising gala for a charity who are building a more inclusive future for young people, especially in Motor Sports
- A streamed broadcast from the UK + Ireland HQ of a motor manufacturer
- The relaunched awards for the historic side of the motor industry
- A Formula 1 team Christmas party.
